LTRC Tissues - Blood SpecimenBlood will be collected from a patient at a study visit. Some of this blood will be sent to each clinical center’s clinical laboratory for determination of specified laboratory values. The remaining blood will be sent the Tissue Core Laboratory, where the DNA contained in the white blood cells of the blood sample will be removed, divided into aliquots, and stored at -70o C for future research on lung disease. Plasma and serum from the blood specimens will also be aliquoted and saved for future research. Blood Specimen Available Through LTRC
